Welcome to the Tibetan Spaniel Association of Victoria Inc website.
The TSAV was founded in 1995 and it was the first registered Tibetan Spaniel Club in Australia and the southern hemisphere (the second being in New South Wales in 2007). We produce a newsletter four times a year called "Tibbie Topics" where we include articles covering club activities such as conformation showing and fun days, health issues, grooming, photos, etc.
Our club is a non profit organisation focussed on promoting the Tibetan Spaniel breed and we are the sister club to the Tibetan Spaniel Club of America.
The TSAV runs a rescue service where we assist in rehoming and rescuing any Tibbies (Australia wide) and we hold a Specialty (Championship) Show each year, always judged by an international breed specialist. Our Specialty Show in 2012 will be held on 1st July and is being judged by Mr Patrick Dewaele (Samskara Tibetan Spaniels) from France.
